how did you get into hardcore?

My dad and skate videos. My dad had Black Flag, Minor Threat, Cro Mags and Bad Brains records. After hearing those i found Agnostic Front and jut kept finding more and more bands. He had Replacements, Iggy Pop, Ramones and Johnny Thunders records too. Those aren’t hardcore but they got me into punk.
